Troubleshooting

Self-diagnose your BONDS by IQOS

No lights on your BONDS by IQOS device?

  1. Your device might be OFF. You can turn on your device by pressing and holding the button for more than 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds. Then, release until four white lights slowly turn on to indicate that the device is ready for the next use.
  2. Your device might not be charged: To charge, always use a manufacturer-supplied Charging Cable and certified AC Power Adaptor. As soon as you plug it in for charging, you will see dotted lights blinking on your device. Once fully charged, make sure your device is switched on before enjoying the next experience.
  3. Your device might need a reset: Press the button until the device vibrates 3 times, then release. All status lights will switch OFF and turn ON to confirm a reset.

Are the status lights flashing?

  1. When the status light blinks orange, it means that the battery is depleted and needs charging.
  2. Status lights blink white twice: Your BONDS by IQOS might have a temperature issue and could be outside the operating temperature range (0°C to 40°C). Allow your device to return to the operating temperature. Please note that using the device more than three times in a row without a pause will cause overheating.
  3. If the status light blinks red, reset your device by pressing the button until the device vibrates 3 times, then release. All status lights will turn OFF and then turn ON to confirm a reset.

Is air not flowing through BONDS by IQOS as it should?

You might have issues with your BLENDS sticks. Each filter mouthpiece is marked by a different color for each flavor: for a correct use of the consumable, make sure that the mouthpiece of your stick is out of your device. Ensure that the stick is properly placed in your device or if you have accidentally inserted a used stick. Please remember to keep the Venting Hole on bottom of the device unobstructed for an optimal experience.
