What do TEREA sticks contain?

The heart of the new bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM^TM is an innovative metal heating element placed inside the TEREA stick and coated with stainless steel for seamless heating of the tobacco. Are TEREA compatible with IQOS DUO?

Because TEREA tobacco sticks feature a fully sealed tobacco part they are not compatible with IQOS DUO or any earlier blade generation devices. Using a TEREA stick in a device with blade heating technology may damage the blade. If you’re wondering why using a HEETS stick in your IQOS ILUMA doesn’t work, it’s because the IQOS ILUMA holder will not heat the tobacco in HEETS due to a different and more advanced heating principle.
