Both IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i operate using the innovative bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM® that heats tobacco rather than burning it. The heating eliminates smoke and ash.

As an evolution in our Heat-not-Burn range, both the IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i share similarities, easing the transition between the two and ensuring your experience remains consistent.

• SMARTCORE Sticks. Both devices use SMARTCORE Sticks with fully sealed stick designs for easy insertion and extraction. A sealed stick means no tobacco residue and no need to clean your holder.
• Familiar design. Both devices come with a Holder and Pocket Charger, maintaining a sleek and user-friendly interface.
• Charging. Both devices can be charged with the same AC Power Adaptor. You can purchase it at the IQOS Partner Store or use the ones from previous generations: IQOS 3, IQOS 3 MULTI, IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS DUO & IQOS ORIGINALS ONE, and IQOS ILUMA.

Compared to previous IQOS generations, the IQOS ILUMA i provides the most personalised experience, with innovative features designed with the adult user in mind. Here are the IQOS ILUMA i features that set this device apart from the IQOS ILUMA family.

• Touch Screen: The new device comes with a touch screen that displays key metrics such as pre-heating status, time left for your experience, and the number of available experiences (1 or 2).
• Pause Mode: With the Pause Mode feature, adult users can pause their experience for up to 8 minutes and resume it.* The Pause Mode feature provides adult users the flexibility to enjoy the experience at their own pace. This feature is particularly useful for those adult users who would like to have the convenience of pausing and resuming their experience.
• FlexPuff Feature: The FlexPuff feature is an innovation in the IQOS ILUMA i design. Depending on the way you puff, FlexPuff adapts to you and may provide 4 extra puffs (on top of 14 puffs)**. With FlexPuff, since the system analyses your experience automatically, no action is required from you.
