TEREA tobacco sticks were specially developed for IQOS ILUMA. This is why TEREA tobacco sticks cannot be used with previous IQOS heated tobacco devices (ORIGINALS or older), as this may cause damage to the device. HEETS tobacco sticks, in turn, are not suitable for IQOS ILUMA.

Because DELIA tobacco sticks feature a fully sealed tobacco part they are not compatible with IQOS 3 DUO or any earlier blade generation devices. Using a DELIA stick in a adevice with blade heating technology may damage the blade.

IQOS heats tobacco instead of burning it for a simple reason: the burning of tobacco emits high amounts of harmful chemicals like carbon monoxide.
IQOS ILUMA SMARTCORE INDUCTION™ technology and IQOS HeatControl™ technology prevent tobacco from burning, which means they significantly reduce the number and level of harmful chemicals emitted compared to cigarette smoke.
FlexPuff is a new, advanced feature on the new IQOS ILUMA i PRIME device.
All devices in the IQOS ILUMA i range are designed only for use with SMARTCORE™ STICKS and 1 experience lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. When the FlexPuff feature is active, the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME adapts to how the adult user puffs their device. As a result, it may provide 4 extra puffs still within the 6-minute duration. This enables a more personalised and flexible experience than before.
FlexPuff activation and the number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns, thus extra puffs might not apply to all adult consumers and/or experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used. This means not all adult users will get an extended experience.

The device will analyse whether the stick has been fully consumed or not. If it has not, 4 extra puffs will automatically be added to the experience. This will be indicated on the Touch Screen, another brand new feature on this device.
To activate FlexPuff, the adult user does not need to take any action since the system analyses the adult user’s experience automatically. Due to this and the number of puffs being dependent on individual usage patterns, we advise that you do not focus on your puffs and let the system function automatically.
If you use the Pause Mode, FlexPuff will not work for this experience. You can also activate or deactivate this feature through the IQOS Web App. Find out more about the IQOS App on our website.

Pause Mode enables experiences with devices in the IQOS ILUMA i range to be paused for up to 8 minutes and then resumed*. If the experience is not re-activated within 8 minutes, the Holder will automatically switch off and the experience will end.
FlexBattery is another advanced feature on the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME. This enables the battery to be in one of two modes, Performance Mode and Eco Mode. Performance Mode allows 2 consecutive uses of up to 6 minutes each with 1 pause for one of them, or up to 3 consecutive uses but without pause. Eco Mode increases the lifespan of the holder battery by up to one year device, but only when fully used on Eco Mode throughout the lifespan of the holder and may vary depending on personal consumption.
